his marks the fifth and sixth instances since 2019 that R&R Construction Services has violated federal fall protection regulations, as per OSHA inspections.
In June and July 2023, OSHA observed roofers without fall protection at heights exceeding 6 feet in Palos Heights and Joliet, resulting in one willful violation and four repeat violations.
Penalties and Timeline:
OSHA imposed $275,869 in penalties, giving R&R Construction Services 15 business days to comply, request an informal conference, or contest the findings before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
