Two worksites, Wagner Smith Equipment Company in Texas and Joint Base Lewis-McChord’s Installation Supply and Service Division in Washington, have been recognized by OSHA under the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). Both sites received the highest level of recognition, the star designation, for their accomplishments in worker health and safety. The VPP acknowledges employers for their safety and health management systems and their low injury and illness rates. OSHA commended both sites for their commitment to keeping workers safe and their collaborative efforts between management and unions.
