Preventive measures are crucial, and employers must prioritize safety precautions, provide proper training, and ensure the use of safety equipment like hard hats and safety harnesses. Collaborative efforts by NIOSH, OSHA, and CPWR promote construction safety through campaigns and guidelines for working on roofs, ladders, and scaffolds. In case of accidents, immediate medical intervention is vital, and workers’ compensation laws may offer financial relief.
